Blue Flag flies again at Marina Port de Mallorca and Marina Palma Cuarentena

Marina Port de Mallorca and Marina Palma Cuarentena will be flying the Blue Flag for the twenty-second and eleventh year in a row, respectively.

This award underlines their firm commitment to the environment and their never-ending dedication to comply with the highest standards of quality of service, facilities, and care for the environment. It is also reflection of their constant engagement with environmental quality.

Both marinas belong to the IPM-IMG Group, a specialist in the management of marinas and shipyards, and work together to comply with excellence towards customers, promoting good conduct inside and outside the marina and towards the environment, taking care of every detail and committing to a greener future.

Marina Port de Mallorca also holds the IMCI's 5-star certificate, and together with Marina Palma Cuarentena holds ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 140001 (environmental management) and ISO 18001 (safety) certification, the EMAS Environmental Declaration, and Carbon Footprint Registry certification, in addition to the Blue Flag.

Patrick Reynés, CEO of IPM GROUP, says that "this international award is not just a recognition, but also a reaffirmation of our unwavering commitment to responsible environmental management, safety, and the quality of our facilities.

The Blue Flag is a symbol of our constant and meticulous environmental work. Meeting the strict criteria required by this award is no mean feat, but at our marinas we know that we need to continue working towards and advocating a green planet".
