The Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Fisheries, has delivered its new EMAS plate to Marina Port de Mallorca, thus renewing this important badge that gives the port the status of a company focused on the care of the environment.
Vicenç Vidal - Environment, Agriculture and Fisheries Counsellor - accompanied by the general director of the Environmental Education and Environmental Quality presented the award to Pilar Moyá, who attended the event organized by the Environment Department on behalf of this marina of the IPM Group.
This recognition is given to companies that, like Marina Port de Mallorca, have a comprehensive management system based on environmental criteria, recognizing the great effort that they decide to do voluntarily and involving the participation of all areas of the company with the same objective: the care of the environment.
Patrick Reynes, Manager of Marina Port de Mallorca states that "this award shows us that we are on the right track, and drives us to continue . Caring for the environment is a priority for us, and we will continue to look for new ways of preserving it. "
The Department of Quality Management receives this news with gratitude being the EMAS award as important as the rest that Marina Port de Mallorca holds in terms of environmental care such as the registration in the Carbon Footprint Register, ISO 14001 and Blue Flag.
