At the end of last week, captains, crew, customers and friends of Marina Port de Mallorca enjoyed a paella prepared especially to promote a recycling campaign that has been going throughout the summer and the intention is to keep it the rest of the year.
With the intention to collaborate in the care of the environment, the marina has launched a recycling campaign dedicated to boats so that the waste generated on board is discarded once they return to the marina. For this reason, reusable bags are offered to recycle plastic, paper and glass, along with a brochure informing about the harmful effects of waste at sea and how it affects marine species.
Besides having enjoyed a nice evening, surrounded by calm seas, customers were very receptive and willing to continue working with good environmental habits.
Marina Port de Mallorca is very committed to promoting good environmental practices among customers, employees and friends, and this activity has been one more in its annual calendar. This is another reason why the marina keeps the most challenging environmental awards.
